A man in Florida told police that he wasn’t drinking and driving…because he was only drinking when he was at stop signs.
After the man repeatedly hit a woman’s car with his bumper, police noticed that the 69-year-old driver had an open bottle of liquor in the passenger seat.
The guy smelled like booze, and told the officers he felt “pretty good.”
He said he was drinking Jim Beam bourbon from the bottle. He explained to the police that he “was not drinking while the car was moving and only when he stopped for stop signs and traffic signals.”
After some field sobriety exercises, the guy was arrested on charges of DUI and driving without a license.
