A man in Montana who was out target shooting became a target when someone had mistaken him as “Bigfoot.”
The 27-year-old told police that he was putting up targets when bullets started flying all around him. The man ran behind some trees for cover and eventually confronted the shooter, who said to him, “I thought you were Bigfoot & if I see something that looks like Bigfoot, I just shoot at it.”
Once the shooter was assured that the man was NOT Bigfoot, he gave him some advice, telling him if he doesn’t want to be shot at, he should wear an orange vest, and then he drove off in his truck.
After the man’s story made headlines, a woman said that she had a similar experience in the same area where she also had been shot at by a man in a truck.
