Last year a guy was stabbed 13 times by his girlfriend. He was in the hospital for three weeks, recovering from the attack.
She pleaded guilty to the stabbing but denied she had intended to ‘kill’ her boyfriend and said she was ‘drunk’ at the time.
She was in court this week, looking at 6 years in prison.
As the judge was about throw her in the slammer, her boyfriend – the guy she stabbed 13 times – stood up and begged the judge for leniency.
Because he told the judge that he wanted to marry her. He then proposed to the woman.
It was not clear why she stabbed him over a dozen times. It’s also not clear why he wants to marry her.
The Russian judge postponed a decision on sentencing until a future hearing.
