It’s getting to be quite much.
Back in the day, we had TV…that was it. You had some rabbit ears on your TV and you hopefully got a decent signal. These days, everything we basically want is at the click of a button! Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Go, Disney+, HBO Max, Crackle, DC Universe, NFL Network, MLB Network, WWE Network, NBC Universal, YouTube Red…
and the list…..goes…on….
How MANY of these damn things are we gonna have to sign up for??? Mind you I don’t have regular cable TV, so I do have a few of these services, but every single day, they are being picked apart and some of my favorite shows will now be only exclusive to certain services.
At one point, I was able to watch most if not all of my favorite shows on 2 of them, and like general business, each company wants a slice of the streaming pie. It makes sense from a business aspect…but from a viewer aspect, it sucks. Gotta click off that to get to this, wait for it to load…blah blah blah.
And the cost, most of them cost roughly $10-$15 per pop, put that one top of your internet bill and you’re starting to pay a hefty bill. Then what if you watch a lot and you hit your data cap on your internet? Then you’re getting charged overages…
It’s getting exhausting that’s for sure. Maybe I’ll head back to the DVD route and just buy my shows, that way I know where they all are…on my shelf.
