ROCK REPORT MONDAY 5/5
A custom-made $10,000 guitar that was stolen from Zakk Wylde’s tour bus has been returned to the rocker. His Blue Bullseye Gibson was swiped after a show in Chicago in March. It turned up at a pawn shop where the TV show “Hardcore Pawn: Chicago” is filmed. An employee originally paid around $50 for the guitar but the owners quickly realized the instrument was something special, identified it and got in touch with Zakk Wylde’s manager.
The guitar is one of two Pelham Blue Les Paul guitars bearing Wylde’s signature bulls-eye pattern and was custom-made for the guitarist in 2010.
