Worst Cycling Uniforms of all-time? Yep.

Tuesday, Sep, 16 2014

The Columbian Women’s Cycling team has new uniforms for their members. Whoever designed these is surely out of a job.

You’ll think these uniforms are a joke…but it’s not. It’s real. Even the head of the cycling league sent out a Tweet saying that these uniforms are “unacceptable by any standard of decency.”

A Chair That You Can Wear?

Friday, Sep, 12 2014

The "Chairless Chair" is a battery-powered locking leg device which allows you to sit anywhere, anytime, without the need of an actual seat. The creators say it’s good for people who sit a lot because it’s good for your muscles and posture... plus, it’s comfortable.

The prototype is made from a combination of aluminum and carbon fiber— it weighs just under 4.5 pounds.

The seat itself never actually touches the ground—it’s secured to the body using a belt and a series of loops. Move into your desired position, push a button, and it locks the device in place. It takes your weight and directs it down into the heels of your shoes. A single 6V battery will apparently power it for up to 24 hours at a time.

No information on pricing yet from this company, But BMW is planning to run a production line trial in Germany this month.
