ROCK REPORT - Tuesday January 28

Tuesday, Jan, 28 2014

Sevendust is set to kick off an acoustic headlining tour April 1 in Athens, GA. The tour will finish in Philadelphia on May 10. The group plans to release an all-acoustic album, Time Travelers & Bonfires, sometime in April. The record will feature some new tunes and reworked Sevendust hits.

Pantera‘s 1994 album “Far Beyond Driven” will be getting a 20 year anniversary edition release this year. The remastered set will come with bonus live audio of a 1994 set the band played at the ‘Monsters Of Rock Festival‘ in England. It will see a March 25th release.

Far Beyond Driven debuted at #1 in March of 1994 and has sold more than two million copies in the U.S.

New Bra

Monday, Jan, 27 2014

A Japanese lingerie maker has built a new kind of bra that only becomes unhooked if the person trying to take it off of you is truly your love. There's a heart rate monitor that's built into the bra and syncs with an app on your phone and monitors your heart rate over time.

Apparently there's a special equation for how your heart rate rises when you're in love. A built-in sensor reads the woman's heart-rate signal and sends it to a special app by Bluetooth for analysis. the app then calculates the True Love Rate based on changes in the heart rate over time. When the True Love Rate exceeds a certain value, the bra hook is opened automatically.
