Get kicked by a train conducter, make bank

Wednesday, Apr, 23 2014

The guy who was kicked in the head by a train worker while he was trying to take a selfie could make some serious cash from that incident.

The 22-year-old, who insists he was a safe distance from the train at the time, was about to snap a selfie when the train conductor booted him in the side of the head as the train passed him.

After 23 million views on YouTube, the guy has agreed to work with a California-based Media company to earn money off the video. His video could earn anywhere from $2 to $16 for every 1,000 views, and he will get 70%.

The video was recorded in Peru.

How would you like to be in a band with former Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison? His band, Scar the Martyr, is holding open auditions to find a new vocalist.

Two weeks ago, vocalist Henry Derek Bonner released a statement announcing his departure from Scar the Martyr to focus on another project. However, the band released their own statement, saying that it was their choice to let the singer go.

If you are interested, email your tryout video to the band by email: stmvocaltryout@stronghq.com

Def Leppard guitarist Steve Clark would have been 54 today.

He died in 1991 from a combination of alcohol and prescription drugs at the age of 30.

Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin had another on-stage meltdown during a show last Wednesday night.
TMZ posted video showing Scantlin losing it during the Dallas show, throwing his microphone into the crowd.  Some reports say fans were upset because it appeared he was lip-syncing.

Throughout the 90 second video clip, Scantlin is seen throwing water, beer, and even his shirt into the crowd as he relentlessly flipped the crowd his middle finger while shouting obscenities.
His mic tossing might have injured a fan.  Paramedics were called though they didn't say what the caused the injury.  Several witnesses blamed it on the flying mic.

It’s not the first time he’s had a meltdown while performing. During a 2004 show in Toledo, Ohio, Scantlin took the stage with his band, but after only four songs admitted to the audience that he was too drunk to continue. His bandmates walked off the stage leaving Scantlin by himself. He remained on stage for another 30 minutes, insulting the crowd and singing random songs that seemed to be made up as he went along. Objects were then thrown back and forth between Scantlin and the crowd before he walked off the stage, where he was arrested for disorderly conduct while intoxicated. On the way to his booking, additional charges were brought after he repeatedly spat on the windows in the back of the police cruiser.

Two years ago Scantlin was arrested while traveling on a cross country flight from Boston to Los Angeles because he was intoxicated. The airplane had to make an emergency landing in Austin, Texas.
Puddle of Mudd is currently on a U.S. tour and plan on releasing a new record this year.
