ROCK REPORT MONDAY

Monday, Apr, 21 2014

Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin had another on-stage meltdown during a show last Wednesday night.
TMZ posted video showing Scantlin losing it during the Dallas show, throwing his microphone into the crowd.  Some reports say fans were upset because it appeared he was lip-syncing.

Throughout the 90 second video clip, Scantlin is seen throwing water, beer, and even his shirt into the crowd as he relentlessly flipped the crowd his middle finger while shouting obscenities.
His mic tossing might have injured a fan.  Paramedics were called though they didn't say what the caused the injury.  Several witnesses blamed it on the flying mic.

It’s not the first time he’s had a meltdown while performing. During a 2004 show in Toledo, Ohio, Scantlin took the stage with his band, but after only four songs admitted to the audience that he was too drunk to continue. His bandmates walked off the stage leaving Scantlin by himself. He remained on stage for another 30 minutes, insulting the crowd and singing random songs that seemed to be made up as he went along. Objects were then thrown back and forth between Scantlin and the crowd before he walked off the stage, where he was arrested for disorderly conduct while intoxicated. On the way to his booking, additional charges were brought after he repeatedly spat on the windows in the back of the police cruiser.

Two years ago Scantlin was arrested while traveling on a cross country flight from Boston to Los Angeles because he was intoxicated. The airplane had to make an emergency landing in Austin, Texas.
Puddle of Mudd is currently on a U.S. tour and plan on releasing a new record this year.

You can buy the "MOST HAUNTED ISLAND ON EARTH."

Monday, Apr, 21 2014

The most haunted island on earth is a small island right off the coast of Venice, Italy called "The Island Of Poveglia." It's beautiful…. and deserted.  No one has lived there in over 50 years.

The 17-acre island was a body dumping ground a few hundred years ago for people dying with the plague.  What’s worse is in the 1900's it became a mental hospital with evil doctors that killed patients for experimental purposes.

A doctor who worked there said that he was haunted by his patients and actually jumped to his death off the hospital tower.

You may have seen this island on Ghost Adventures or The Scariest Places on Earth

The island is currently up for auction if you’re looking for some good vacation property. Bids are due by May 8th. Italy is selling the island to help pay off its debt.

What it looks like to get hit in the face by a fastball

Monday, Apr, 21 2014

The Houston Astros minor league affiliate, the Corpus Christi Hooks have an outfield prospect named Delino DeShields Jr. --- the son of former major league, Delino DeShields.

During the 7th inning of his team’s Double game the other night, he took a 90 mph fastball to the right side of his face.

He went down for a brief spell, but was able to walk off on his own power. He was promptly taken to a hospital, where he should make a full recovery.
