35 letter last name

Wednesday, Jan, 8 2014

A woman in Hawaii has a last name that is 35 letters long.

She was on "Inside Edition" last night, and they got her to say the name and spell it for them.

She actually had to petition Hawaii's state government to get a special driver's license made, because the regular ones couldn't fit a name that long.

At first, the government actually told her that she should just change her name to make it easier on herself and everyone else.

Whoops!

Wednesday, Jan, 8 2014

The No. 2 ranked Auburn Tigers fell to the undefeated No. 1 ranked Florida State Seminoles in the BCS National Championship Monday night, but for a while the Tigers had won, at least according to FSU.

Tuesday, fans of the Seminoles could purchase their championship shirts from the university's official online sports site, "Seminole Shop", but the shirts had a problem……
The shirt showed the final score Auburn 34 to Florida State 31.
After viral posts on social media, Florida State quickly changed their link…and t-shirt design.
The final score was 34 to 31, but not in favor of the Tigers.

11-year-old kid shreds "Eruption"

Wednesday, Jan, 8 2014

An 11-year-old kid named Aidan Fisher got onstage at a Steel Panther concert in Kansas City last month, and absolutely SHREDDED Van Halen's "Eruption" in front of thousands of people. He showed up to the concert with a sign challenging the guitarist to a guitar solo, but NO ONE expected him to be as good as he is.  (If you haven't seen it, the video has racked up over a million hits on YouTube.)
