Actor R. Lee Ermey has died due to complications from pneumonia..

He enlisted in the Marines in 1961 at age 17. He served for 11 years, including 14 months in Vietnam, before he was discharged in 1972.

In 1987 he had his breakthrough acting role in Full Metal Jacket.

In all, Ermey racked up more than 60 credits in television and film, including apperances in "Se7en," “Saving Silverman,” a couple Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies, & Sarge in the "Toy Story" movies.

He was also the host of “Mail Call” on History Channel and “GunnyTime” on Outdoor channel.

He was 74.
