Living in the Waterloo area for as long as I have, there has been this building by Stuff Etc on San Marnan Ave that has always had me curious.
It’s the BIG office building that looks like it houses some kind of offices with a red trim, well kept grass, and is still lit up at night. Now, longtime Waterloo residents probably either used to work there or know what it is…but I always thought it had some kind of potential!
That time has finally come as a tech company from Ohio named STRATACACHE has announced they have purchased the building.
According to KWWL, they plan to use the building as a network operations center and data hosting facility! Which is something that seems to be getting pretty common in todays world.
New hiring will being January of next year! New jobs coming to the Cedar Valley!
