Starbucks & Dunkin aren’t going to be the only corporate coffee shops in town anymore.
Everyday I drive by Starbucks in Waterloo, there is a line just crawling out into the street! It’s seemingly ALWAYS busy! Personally I prefer local coffee shops over the big name stuff, but another big name shop seems to be coming to the Cedar Valley and Independence.
Scooters Coffee, whom already has locations in Cedar Rapids and Marion…will be making their way to the Cedar Valley in Cedar Falls, Waterloo, and Independence.
I have tried Scooters a couple of times and they’re pretty good! The Waterloo/CF Courier wrote a story about it:
The Cedar Falls location is already open, and the company is currently ‘eyeing’ spots in Waterloo…I assume it’ll be somewhere on San Marnan.
