Waterloo Council to Vote on Animal Control Contract
Cedar Bend Humane Society Would Get More Tax Money
0 0

The Waterloo City Council may vote tonight(Mon) on a new, three-year contract with the Cedar Bend Humane Society, so the local non-profit can continue serving as the City’s stray animal kennel.

If approved as-is, the new deal could cost Waterloo taxpayers about $4,200 more next fiscal year than animal control has this year.

And speaking of animals, the Council will hold a 4:25 work session today(Mon), to discuss some proposed changes in the ordinance that governs so-called hobby farms, and farm animals, within city limits.

The regular meeting will start at 5:30.
