Ice in Evansdale Water Tower Begins to Break Up
Boil Order Could be Lifted as Soon as Tomorrow
0 0

Evansdale Mayor Doug Faas says some of the ice inside the city’s water tower has begun to break up…and if that continues, Evansdale’s water woes will soon come to an end.

In an interview with KXEL News this(Wed) afternoon at 1 o’clock, Faas says the city has already conducted one EPA-required test on the water quality, and it came back clean.

A second test…also required when a city’s water pressure drops below a certain point, as Evansdale’s did during the freeze…has been conducted, and if the results are the same as the first test, the mayor says city water will be circulating through the tower as it usually does and the boil order will be lifted, perhaps as early as tomorrow(Thur) morning.
