Slick Stretch of Highway-20 Leads to Jesup Rollover
Driver Had to be Cut from Wreckage

Jesup paramedics and firefighters rescued a pickup driver early this(Wed) morning, after his truck slid off Highway-20 and landed upside down on a frozen creek.

Authorities say the pickup was westbound, shortly after 7 o'clock, when it crashed just west of the Jesup exit.

The driver and only person in the truck was trapped and fire & ambulance crews had to remove a door to get him out. Buchanan County deputies and Jesup Police also responded to the scene.

The driver's name hasn't been released.
