Waterloo & Cedar Falls Schools Going 'Virtual' For a Week

By Tim Martin Nov 18, 2020 | 11:44 AM

This looks to be coming more common.

As COVID-19 cases continue to rise, more pressure falls on schools to figure out what they are going to do to keep learning going. It’s been a VERY difficult year for kids, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to let up soon.

Waterloo & Cedar Falls Schools announced that they will be moving to virtual learning for 5 days around the Thanksgiving holiday. The school announced that November 23rd and 24th, as well as November 30th thru December 2nd. Currently, in person classes will resume on Thursday, December 3rd.

This sucks for kids man…when I was in school years ago, doing ‘virtual’ learning wasn’t a thing. There is something about socially being IN SCHOOL with your classmates and face to face learning. I get it though, we have to do what we have to do….doesn’t mean it sucks any less though.
