Tis the season for giving.
As we all know,, COVID-19 has impacted the food industry heavily…less and less people are eating in a restaurant, and in some cases, they can’t! Servers depend on tips to make any kind of money as most (if not all) make less than minimum wage, so I can’t imagine being a server around this time.
However in some cases, there are some people that go really above and beyond to help out those in need as a patron at a Des Moines iHop not only was served a $10 waffle, but in return served up a $1300 tip to the server!
That is awesome!
Many people are struggling hard this holiday season, and it’s great to see some cheer right now.
