Gotta give them a hand for at least trying.
Earlier today, the big rock festival presented DWP (Danny Whimmer Presents) announced that their epic lineup of rock festivals will be making a return this year. DWP presents shows like Sonic Temple, Louder Than Life, Epicenter, and formerly Northern Invasion (remember that show?)
But, what events will be taking place this year? Sadly, not all of them.
Their EARLY shows like Sonic Temple and Epicenter will NOT be returning this year, as those events happen just to early in the year. With the pandemic still raging on, it’s just a little too risky to book.
However…
They WILL be putting on Louder Than Life, Welcome to Rockville, and Aftershock Festival as those events happen in the Fall, giving more time for the COVID-19 vaccine to do it’s thing and HOPEFULLY be out of the pandemic at that point.
It’s a risk, but a worthy one…who knows what the end of the year will look like…but we can sure HOPE that’ll we’ll be out of this pandemic so we can get back to rock fests!
