Hometown: A little town in Chicago called Kentucky. It’s so little it isn’t even on the map!!!
First record you owned: AC/DC “Back In Black” on vinyl (remember those, kids?)
Foods you crave: Hot dogs, stuffed crust pizzas, and Culver’s
Moment you knew you wanted to be in radio: I grew up listening to everything from “Breakfast with the Beatles” to Howard Stern.
Favorite TV shows: The Simpsons, Monty Python, Daily Show, Colbert Report, NCIS, and House.
Favorite guilty pleasure artist/band: The Beatles, cheesy 70’s music, and Michael Jackson
Jobs before radio: Grocery bagger
Biggest pet peeve: Overachievers…the kind that expresses themselves with bumper stickers and T-shirts.
Three artists that are currently rockin' your CD/mp3 player: Zeppelin II, Black Sabbath/Master Of Reality, and Metallica/…And Justice For All
Favorite guy movie: Pulp Fiction
Song or album that changed your life: Helter Skelter from “The Beatles: White Album”. From there, I was hooked on every kind of rock record you could imagine.
If you were in a rock band you would be the: Shy, ‘gifted’ one who gets all the chicks.
Final words of wisdom/advice: I got this from the late George Carlin…I think it's my duty to find out where the line is drawn and cross it deliberately. |
