Weekends

Thanks to my mom and dad for raising me on Rock N Roll, I have ventured from Chicago to come rock out with the best of Iowa. If you're trying to find me outside the studio your best bet will be front row at a concert, behind a camera lens, or hidden away behind a book...and maybe a bar or two ;)

  • Guns N Roses took to the stage last night in Tulsa, Okla. and closed out the show with a surprise guest, Dave Grohl! After just seeing Foo Fighters live this weekend, I am pretty jealous of this crowd! Check out the video of the performance for yourself below.

As of now the groups have only announced one stop in the Midwest on February 17th in Milwaukee with special guests Red Sun Rising! Hoping for some more midwest dates to be announced but a lineup like this is definitely worth the drive.

  • This past October, Foo Fighters put on their very own one day rock festival in San Bernardino called Cal Jam. This lineup this year was insane, hosting artists such as Royal BLood, Queens of the Stone Age, Cage the Elephant, and many more killer acts.

  • Nickelback's ninth studio album Feed The Machine was released this past June. The band has come out with a music video for one of their most heavy tunes The Betrayal and this tune just rocks. No one enjoys feeling betrayed so I think having such an angry sound for this tune is quite fitting. Check out the video for yourself below!

  • Talented street performers are one of my favorite things to stumble upon in a city! I have seen a couple of pretty awesome acts on the streets but never anyone with this much talent! Lewis Floyd Henry perfectly tackles MOTORHEAD'S Ace of Spades with a little Notorious BiG mixed in there all on his own. Check it out below!
