Cedar Rapids Authorities Investigating 6 Separate Fires in the Past 24 Hours

Yea we really don’t need this right now alright?

Pandemic and a derecho….Cedar Rapids has seen enough this year, the last thing we need is fires to burn the damn place down alright?

Cedar Rapids authorities are investigating 6 fires that seemed to have been started intentionally in the past 24 hours…SIX FIRES!

2 of the fires were reported to be mattresses set ablaze close to the street, both of them at around 2AM and 3AM. Which by the way, nothing really good happens at those times in the morning. The other fires that were set were either more mattress fires or debris.

Anyone with information about these fires — including sightings of suspicious activity, individuals or vehicles in those…

Especially with the massive piles of debris still sitting alongside roads that are drying out? That could get REALLY bad…so just don’t.
