People are really struggling amidst the big storm that tore through the corridor, leaving many without power and supplies…I get that, we all do! But that doesn’t give permission to just up and steal a generator.
The Cedar Valley Humane Society in Cedar Rapids was victim to recent theft of a generator that helped power the humane society that provided cool air for the animals, and also water in their backup system. Humane Societies depend a TON of generous donations, so a generator was a steep bill for them…and for that to just be stolen? It’s pretty crappy.
So whoever stole the Cedar Valley Humane Societies generator? F*** you.
Today we are heartbroken. Hours after we got our generator working- while staff went to purchase batteries for our leaf…
