Wow, this cover blew me away. I think it’s incredible! Sevendust wanted to cover this song to have played over the airwaves after all the crazy stuff going on in our society lately. The song’s message is about learning to live a better life, which they thought was relevant for today. The song was first released in 1994 by Soundgarden, of course.
Singer, Lajon said, “Soundgarden is such an important band to all of us in Sevendust and this love for them goes all the way back to when we were starting.”
Clint, the guitarist said, “Cornell, man, is definitely in the top five artist, singer, songwriters. I love everything that he’s ever done.”
