First Favorite Song You Couldn't Get Enough Of

By Tim Martin Jul 10, 2020 | 11:07 AM

Thinking back, what was one of the first songs you played over and over again?  You just couldn’t get enough of it?  I brought this up on my show earlier, and here’s some of your answers:

Jamie – Mary Jane’s Last Dance. I was 10 when the song came out but that didn’t stop me from finding money to buy my first cassette tape ever. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

DustinGolden Earring- Twilight Zone. Used to to come on the radio while I was helping my dad work in the garage.

Elizabeth – Literally any song off Kid Rock’s album Devil Without A Cause…..When I was 8 years old

Anthony – Hard Luck Woman…. wore it out on my dad’s copy of KISS Alive II when I was little.

JonMy parents said the first song i would ever sing along to when played was Get a Haircut by George Thorogood.

AnneWhole Alanis Morisette album. Jagged Little Pill.

Mike – The Knack- My Sharona.

Brittany – Destroyer – Static X

ChristopherMy 1st favorite song I think was Rhinestone Cowboy by Glenn Campbell  . I have no idea why I was 4. Remember getting the album as a Christmas gift that year

JeremiahThe Gambler

BradSharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top

Wendy – Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now – Jefferson Starship

Brian – Eddie Grant – Electric Avenue

Darin – Phil Collins… In the Air Tonight

Elizabeth – Red Red Wine by UB40 lol

Cody – “Unskinny Bop” by Poison

Mine was “Aqualung” by Jethro Tull.  I was 11-years-old, and I’d go in the basement and play Dad’s vinyls.  I got HOOKED on that song.  Isn’t it weird when you listen to a song… you can visualize where you were, and even smell the smells?  Music has so much power.  I always think of my Dad when I hear this song.  I miss him with all my heart!
