Last Concert You Saw

By Tim Martin Jul 13, 2020 | 11:12 AM

Anyone else over this pandemic yet?  Are you itching for live music?  If so, you def are NOT alone.  Is this the longest you’ve gone without seeing live music?

What was the last concert you went to?  And when?  The last show I saw was Korn/Breaking Benjamin on February 15th at the U.S. Cellular Center.  Little did we know… EVERYTHING was about to change.

Some bands are TRYING to get out there and play live shows, but so far they’ve been getting major backlash for it.  As much as I miss live music, I’m not going to go any time soon.  Good thing is that we have technology, so bands are providing us with countless performances and interviews.  It’s cool to see these musicians do interviews.  We get an inside/intimate look into their lives, whereas we probably wouldn’t if the world were “normal” right now.

Here’s a new interview with Jay Weinberg talking about his first days with Slipknot.

Here’s a new interview with Taylor Momsen talking about her love for Soundgarden.

Here’s a new interview with Lajon from Sevendust talking about their decision to cover Soundgarden’s “The Day I Tried To  Live”.
