In a post to her Facebook account Teresa Simmons Dutton wrote; “So this happened today… Some Amish came from southern Iowa to help… they wouldn’t take money, and were glad to help.. the went house to house down the street.”
It’s amazing watching a community come together to help each other. Disaster, in a strange twist actually strengthens community and shows that for the stuff that really matters, we’re all in this together! See Teresa’s post below.
