Ever watch that classic 80’s movie ‘The Karate Kid?’
You’ve at least probably heard of it, or by this point heard of the show ‘Cobra Kai.’ Well finally during my paternity leave, I took the time to re-watch 1984’s ‘The Karate Kid’ and then dive right into the show that a lot of people are talking, and I gotta say…
What took me so long?
The show is fantastic!
It’s well written, decently acted, and very attention grabbing. Each episode seemingly ends with a cliffhanger making want to binge the whole series right then and there! It also has these moments where they mislead you thinking things might go one way, but then something ENTIRELY happens where you go ‘Ohhhhh nooooo.’
It’s funny cause this show started as a YouTube Red exclusive show which is gained pretty high popularity there, but one problem…you had to have YouTube Red. It didn’t seemingly REALLY hit until Netflix recently got the exclusive rights and now everybody is watching it. If you’re tired of watching the same episodes of Seinfeld, The Office, and Community 982 times…give Cobra Kai a shot.
