By Tim Martin Feb 8, 2021 | 1:06 PM

Are you 40 years old, single, and work one of these jobs? You’re not alone.

With Valentine’s day just around the corner, whether you celebrate or not…it’s a day we are supposed to celebrate love for one another, and probably do the dirty cause commercials say we should.

Maybe you’re single though, which is totally fine! But if you work one of the below jobs, there is a likely chance you’ll stay single cause of the crazy hours you work. According to Census data, strange or late hours and being waist deep in meat don’t do ya many favors in the love world.

1.  Bartenders, 70% are single at age 40.

2.  Hotel desk clerks, 66%.

3.  Food processing workers, 66%.

4.  Brick masons, 66%.

5.  Restaurant hosts, 66%.

6.  Agricultural food graders and sorters, 65%.

7.  Actors, 64%.

8.  Flight attendants, 62%.

9.  Vehicle cleaners, 62%.

10.  Butchers, 61%.

Not trying to be a debbie-downer here, but each one of those jobs has something unique about it. Especially hotel desk clerks working that 12a-9a shift? All the credit to you fine folks! And how could someone not love a meat handler??? I mean, THEY MAKE BACON!
