The Rock N Roll Hall of Fame Nominees are in.
And as usual, it’s always with it’s controversy! Acts like LL Cool J, Mary J. Blige, and Tina Turner are all nominated which are obviously not really rock music. At this point though, Rock & Roll is more of an attitude than really a genre when it comes to the Hall of Fame. I mean, if it was ALL ROCK music, we wouldn’t be having this convo now would we?
But what rock acts DID make the bill this year?
The rock bands on the bill are pretty good, but isn’t it crazy to see Foo Fighters on there? It’s been that long? How crazy is that.
When it comes to popular vote though, my choices are
- Iron Maiden
- Rage Against the Machine
- New York Dolls
- Foo Fighters
I would have put Foo’s higher on the list, but those top 3 are just so influential to me. Also how could Maiden NOT be on top right?
