WWE's Paul 'Big Show' Wight Joins AEW

One would say it’s ‘Giant’ news.

Probably one of the most memorable wrestlers in history has made one BIG move in his career…see what I did there?

Paul Wight aka The Big Show, has signed a deal to depart for WWE and join the ranks of AEW. Wight signed to a multi-year contract where he will work as both a wrestler and commentator for a upcoming YouTube series, ‘AEW Dark: Elevation.’

It’s crazy to see this as Wight has been with WWE since 1999 when he departed from WCW where he was billed as ‘The Giant,’ then took the name ‘The Big Show,’ and has been there ever since. I first watched Wight during his stint in WCW and he was always one of my favorites, I mean the dude is ACTUALLY a giant clocking in a 7 feet tall weighing 383 pounds.

I’d also like to point out that he is joining a YouTube show…..not broadcast….YouTube! I mean, if that doesn’t tell you how times are changing, I don’t know what does.
