A video is floating around the internet right now of Puddle of Mudd’s Wes Scantlin performing the classic Nirvana track ‘About a Girl’
Sirius XM shared his live performance in their studio and unfortunately, it was likely one of Wes’ off days. Regardless though, Sirius XM shared the video which I honestly think was a bad move on their part…but that’s a whole ‘nother story.
Puddle of Mudd has been performing this cover for years! All the way back in 2005 even! Now Wes as you know has had a few rough years, but you gotta give him applause on trying to get his life back on track, which it looks like he has quite well! New album and all!
So instead of sharing that performance, let’s share this video proving that the dude has what it takes to perform a Nirvana classic.
