Jersey Mikes is with out a doubt one of the BEST chain sandwich/sub shops out there; better than most Mom & Pop’s too. And they’re opening one in Marion on Carlson Way by the Pizza Ranch and Quick Star. They have a grille which means steak and cheese subs (Homer Simpson gurgle), and hot chicken selections, but more importantly, one of the best (and only) hot Pastrami sandwiches you’ll find in Iowa. Roast beef cooked in store is amazing! The Cold Cut Subs are wicked good and the Italian Cold Cut is authentic with Provolone, salami, pepperoni and raised without antibiotics ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo! Get any of the cold subs made “Mikes Way” and you won’t be disappointed.
They’re open early with breakfast sandwiches too. As someone raised on great Subs, I can’t wait for Jersey Mikes to open in Marion. –Russ
